MEET DR. C. BROOKS SMITH

Dr. Smith was born and raised in Texas. He attended Southwestern University in Georgetown, Texas and later received his Bachelor’s Degree in Chemistry from the University of Texas at Arlington. He received his Doctor of Medicine degree from the University of Texas Health Science Center at San Antonio in 1994 and also completed his three-year family practice residency program there.

Dr. Smith and his wife, Alice, have been married since 1990. They moved to Granbury in 1998 to raise their five children and open his private medical practice. Dr. Smith has been voted “Best Doctor“ by the readers of the Hood County News paper for many years. He feels blessed to have had the privilege of caring for the Granbury community for more than two decades.

Ashleigh Robertson, APRN, NP-C
Ashleigh Robertson, APRN, NP-C
Ashleigh Robertson is a board certified nurse practitioner with the American Association of Nurse Practitioners (AANP) who specializes in adult and geriatric primary care. She has an extensive background in family medicine, oncology, and intellectual and developmental disabilities. She completed her Bachelor of Science in Nursing at Tarleton State University in Stephenville, Texas then earned her Master of Science in Nursing at Maryville University of St. Louis in Saint Louis, Missouri.

Ashleigh grew up in Granbury, Texas where she met her high school sweetheart, Trey. Ashleigh, her husband, Trey, and their two children, Carter and Connor, reside in Granbury, Texas. They will welcome their third child, Caroline, into the world August 2019. Ashleigh and her family enjoy being outdoors and being with family.

Board certified Physician Assistant through the National Commission on the Certification of Physician Assistants. I’m an active member of the Texas Academy of Physician Assistants and Christian Medical & Dental Associations. I completed a Bachelor of Science in Speech-Language Pathology & Audiology at the University of Texas at Dallas in Richardson Texas then earned a Master of Physician Assistant Studies at the University of North Texas Health Science Center. I’m passionate about preventive medicine, geriatric health, and helping families live healthy, active lives.

I grew up in Abilene, Texas before making my way to Fort Worth and now settling in Granbury. I enjoy spending time outdoors hiking, catching every sunset, and being involved in my church. I’m grateful to be living here in Granbury and serving this wonderful community.

Justin Burns, PA-C
Justin Burns is a nationally certified physician assistant with the NCCPA and holds a current Texas medical license. He completed his Bachelor of Science in Biology at the University of Sioux Falls before getting his Master of Physician Assistant Studies at the University of North Texas Health Science Center at Fort Worth.

Justin grew up in Sioux Falls, South Dakota where he stayed through college. He moved to Fort Worth, Texas for school where he currently lives. In his time off he enjoys golfing, being outdoors and playing board games with his friends.
